CP4 Audio Demo: Musical demo of the 9' CFX Premium Concert Grand Piano
CP4 Stage: check out the sounds of the 9' CFX Premium Concert Grand Piano voice.
This is a quick thing I put together featuring the CFX 9 foot concert grand voice in the CP4 Stage. I tried to play as dynamically as possible to give you a sense of just how deeply expressive this instrument really is. There are some things to listen for with the CFX voice (in the A.PIANO1 voice category) as compared to the other two pianos (the CFIIS--which is A.PIANO2--and the S6--which is A.PIANO3). The CFX has a very prounouced fundamental pitch, and that quality really allows individual notes to "pop out". The individual notes in a dissonant chord are really much more distiguishable to my ear, yet there is a nice warmth to the instrument as well. It is a very different voices. compared to the other two voices. I should really stress different, not necessarily better. I'll cover those two in another blog post...
