ABOUT

Yamaha Synthesizer Artist, Larry Cox, is a phenomenal musical director, writer and keyboardist. Over the years, Larry’s work has earned him several notable TV and film credits – and an impressive artist portfolio. Today, Cox’s significant contributions to the music industry are widely recognized and heard by millions across the globe.



Always moving forward, he remains focused on furthering his music career and continuing to build his legacy. Instrumentally, Cox’s strengths lie in playing the piano, organ, and Rhodes, along with the bass guitar, drums, and brass instruments. With over 20 years of vocal experience, he sings lead, back up, arranges, reads music and teaches as well.

He’s performed live and toured with such artists as: Usher, Pharell, Jennifer Hudson, Brian McKnight, Mary J. Blige, Avant, Earth Wind & Fire, Petey Pablo, Loretta Devine, Mary Mary, and Miley Cyrus, 2 Chains, Wiz Khalifa, Kendrick Lamar, Ty Dolla Sign – to name just a few. Many know Larry as Music Director/Writer for Billboard Award-winning and Grammy nominated artist Robin Thicke.



Although his career has taken him around the world, Larry makes sure to stay connected to the community. Maintaining his roots in the church, he has been the lead musician and music director for many churches in the Greater Los Angeles area. And of course, his family, including his biggest fan!



Recently, Larry has been working on a variety of projects: -Just completed the Fantasia “Sketchbook Tour” Oct. 15- Dec. 7 2019 – Co-wrote Urban AC/R&B Hit “That’s What Love Can do” which was #1 for 4 weeks summer/fall of 2019 – Collaborating on 2020 “Robin Thicke” release -Currently writing and producing music for several artists.
