I had a Yamaha PSR510 Synthesizer Workstation - they came out in 1993. The sound was excellent. What would the current model in the market be to buy that has the same features?
This is the features it had:
61 velocity-sensitive keys;
6-track sequencer;
auto accompaniment;
127 voices, 8 drum kits, and 103+ rhythms (including the ability to create your own custom rhythms);
voice panning;
10 harmony types;
8 effects and reverb;
pitch-bend wheel;
MIDI out/in;
keyboard split;
registration memory;
stereo speakers.
Headphone/aux output
Sustain pedal input
Can run on batteries or included power supply.

Technically speaking, the Yamaha PSR510 in not a synthesizer (and is not supported by this website) - it falls under the category of Portable Keyboard. We can point you in the right direction and fill in a bit of the history of how these keyboards have evolved over the past 27 years.
The PSR-500-Series was the top of the line of the battery operated Portable Keyboards. While the 200-, 300- and 400-Series all continue up to today, the 500-Series does not have currently have a model...
In order to do more, they need to plug into the wall. If battery operation is critical, you can find out about current battery operated PSR-E-Series keyboards at the links below:
Models above this must use the included Power Adapter... and are considered Arranger Workstations... starting with...
Yamaha PSR-S670 — major step up in specification, effects, etc., etc.
Please explore all the tabs for details on each product... these types of keyboard have evolved to where you‘ll need to review the Specs for yourself, you can even download the Manuals for free.
