Hello,
Not the first time I use MODX with Cubase (not experienced either, just started last Feb) but just downloaded Cubase AI 12 and setting it up again.
What are MODX-1/-2/-3 in the MIDI Setup?

Thanks Bill! I will indeed go through these links next. Just finished 2 Youtube Tutorials about MODX/Cubase & Cubase.

No need to use MODX Connect, which is good, as getting it to work reliably is constant work.
As is getting Cubase licensing to constantly, reliably work, and its connections to MODX.
You can relatively easily make your own templates, and it's a good exercise to understand how MODX/Montage do MIDI, which is unusual and unique to them.
