"Breathe" is one of the available Control Sources in the Montage and ModX. But what Breathe Controler can we use and where to plug it in ? The old Yamaha BC is out for a long time, so what can we do ?

There are several discussions on this subject — that include current solutions if you wish to use this control with today’s synthesizers that no longer feature a dedicated BC jack. Yamaha no longer manufactures the controller. There are several companies that manufacture a MIDI solution.

Do a search on this site, and a general internet search, but make sure you spell it: “Breath Controller”

It's just one of the standard MIDI CC commands.

In reality there is nothing unique about controller #2 compared to most of the other controllers. It can be used for any common continuous controller command so long as you set up the transmitting and receiving devices accordingly.
