My home studio setup utilizes the Roland Integra-7 and the new Montage 6(for its own sounds and as a midi). So my question is

Is it possible to use the super knob to control effects and parameters with voices from the integra 7? I can use the Assignable knobs to affect the integra voices(called parts) with the montage's given effects(by pressing the tone or efx button. what I want is to be able to control multiple effects applied to the intrgra voices. If this is possible how would I go about setting this up? Any information would be helpful and thanks in advance.

No. Sorry, that isn't going to happen 🙂

The Super Knob sends Yamaha Parameter Change messages (System Exclusive) - they would be meaningless to any other device.

You can use the extensive ZONE MASTER function of the Montage to control your external module. The Zone Master function is activated in [UTILITY] > "Settings" > "Advanced" > set the Zone Master = On

This allows you to program any active Keyboard Control Part as Zone control OUT via MIDI - using this function the Montage is an 8 Zone Master Keyboard Controller. Every Part in the currently selected Performance can activated as a zone on any Midi channel.

You will want use the Zone Master function to control your external device this way you can set controls that address just the external device (not both simultaneously, until you want to do that).
