Is it possible to use a screen protector such as Zagg, or something along that order, to protect the screen. Or is it not recommended. Or even keep the original cover on the screen. I just want to keep my Montage looking like new.

I understood from Bad Mister that you should remove the screen protector as it may interfere with the touch screen functions

Some screen covers are better for touch screens but all will diminish the sensitivity somewhat. Personally, I don't use them. I do wash my hands before touching any of my gear, keep everything covered when not in use, and wipe everything down with a slightly dampened microfiber cloth often.

No need to dampen the micro-fiber 😉 just have one around always.
