Hi just got a mx49
I installed usb drivers and the Vyrco MX editor, and trying to change the default 16 keys with my choices.
After I change the sound I hit save it sometimes saves, sometimes doesn't. When I manage to really save it and reboot/restart the keyboard they are gone.
If I change the sounds manually on keyboard and save it, it stays for that session, but after restarting the keyboard they are gone too.
Am I missing something_
While the booting keyboards says [Factory Set...] I don't know if it's normal.

Factory Set restores your MX to a Factory fresh state. This is typically used only in retail stores so that each morning the instrument is restored to factory fresh condition.
If your goal is be the owner of this MX you probably should turn that Off.
Press [UTILITY]
Press [JOB]
Set Factory Set "PowerOn Auto = Off"
Press [STORE] to write your setting to internal memory
Please see page 69 of the Reference Manual.
Before making any settings, you should check the manual for its implications.

Oh thanks, I've been suspecting that because my keyboard is a display unit 🙂

Now I'm having a hard time changing the category button defaults.
For example when I change Keyboard button default Vintage'74 to Multi Comp on MXCategory Performance and save it stays, but if I change Organ button and save it too the other returns to default.
But I want to change every single one to my liking, isn't it possible.

What I'm trying to tell
The right side category buttons
Piano Keyboard Organ Guitar Bass...
What I want when I turn on the system and Press Piano it launches Patch5, and the keyboard launches Patch 11 for example. Not default Patch 01.
If i dial every sound I choose on every button (Piano Keyboard Organ Guitar Bass.. buttons) it stays but after I restart the keyboard / or change the performance they are set to default patch 01 sound. I can't save that state, and I have to adjust everytime that buttons to my preferred sounds.
