Hi, I have an "old" Yamaha S90 ES keyboard.
I tried to control it via Studio Manager but every time I try to create a new file an error message pops up as you can see in the attachment.
How can I fix this?
(I'm sorry for my bad english)

Thank you,
Bac

The error message is clear enough... it can’t do what you asked it to do. So I am going to assume you want to ask *why* you are getting this message and for that you’d have to provide some (any) information.

I guess we should explain, for software to run properly you have to have a computer, with an operating system capable of running the software you are trying to run. All those “system requirement” specification mean you must match the the computer type and operating system with the version of the software you are attempting to run.

You provided none of that kind of info. But before you do, you must recognize that if you have changed or updated your computer or computer operating system since 2005, then you should have been keeping up, at each change, with what, if anything, had become “non-compliant”.

That’s a fancy computer industry term for: uh-oh your computer or some component that is needed to run this old software is no longer available or supported... if it is working consider yourself lucky, if not you may not find it tenable.

Basically, with computers and software, it is always a thing of — ‘hope you kept up!’ We can’t tell you or even attempt a guess at why you are seeing this message BECAUSE we have no info on what computer, what version, what operating system, whether running 32-bit/64-bit, what driver, what connection etc., etc., etc.

If you are running a computer and os from 2005 and changed nothing in 13 years, it probably would still be running!
Doubting that’s the case... fill us in, please.

Thank you Bad Mister, yes I actually forgot to write you details on my Os, I'm sorry. It's a MacOS Sierra 10.12.6 - mid 2012
I guess I have to give up...

The last compatibility I see for the software you are trying to run was with Mac OS 10.7 (Lion)... that was released 2011, not bad for software released in 2005... figure it ran well well beyond 2012...

As I was trying to point out... You are in that time zone where there are likely to be enough changes that it does not work any more. This does NOT mean that it will definitely not work, it very well might. But there is no one still creating fixes to keep it working at this point due to protocol changes, obsolescence of some essential widget or routine.

Here’s what you can try... Make sure you are using the latest Studio Manager for Macintosh is now version 2.3.5-2 for Mac (this should run on your OS).
I’m afraid the latest version of the S90 ES Multi Part Editor is the one that tops out at OS 10.7 (Lion), but this may not be fatal.

What version of Studio Manager are you running?
