How do I program The Motif Xs to work as master midi controller in Reason 8?

Connect it to the computer via a single USB cable. You will need the Yamaha USB-MIDI Driver for your computer's Operating System.
This driver can be found at the Official Yamaha Download site: http://download.yamaha.com
The Motif XS has no specific template for controlling Reason... you will need to consult the Reason 8 documentation for what items can be assigned and controlled
