is there a way to lock parameters eg efx, arp etc so i can switch between different preset single patches and test the sound and pick my like ? similar to browsing arp patterns on the same preset. now when i switch presets i loose my arp and efx. thanks

yes, with the new firmware you can, when searching for a performance, unclick "mixing, arp and scene" at the bottom of the screen, under "param. with parts".

Yes, it's on "part category search" :
Unclik "Param with part" parameters to keep the original part settings
