Hi friends. I have a question about the Moxf8. My out puts and my headphones volume sometimes will go out and not be 100 percent. The headphones output will be mono at the same time it goes out until I press down on the panel near the volume. When I do this the phones go back to stereo and the output will play at a full sounding volume. It did this before and I had a Yamaha certified repairman put new inputs in it. Is this a common problem with the Moxf8? Can someone get me going in the right direction as far as repair or what may be causing this. Thanks.

There is no reason to press down on the front panel. How hard do you have to do this?... don't answer it's a rhetorical question. Why the output level would require new inputs is unclear. Is that what they reported? the problem with the output was the inputs? Strange, to say the least.
You can usually find an authorized repair location through your regional Yamaha corporate website. Hard for us to say where to go next without knowing where in the world you are located.

Sorry Bad Mister. It was the outputs that were repaired. But I am located near the Fayetteville NC area. Sounds like some sort of short. It happens randomly. My cords do fit in rather loosely but they go in all the way. It still shouldn't effect the headphones out while they are in.
