General Question to clarify how to add and edit insertion effects to up to 8 of my mix parts working in song mode. Please check my understandings. Wherever my song mix uses internal preset voices, I can access add and edit insertion effects to them directly through song mode. I can, in effect (no pun intended), add insertion effects to song mix voices, correct? However, if my song mix contains user voices including user drum or user PLG voices, then I must return to voice mode and add my insertion effects there. There are no unique pattern or song mix voice variations allowed to user voices, correct?

No. You can create a Mix Voice from any AWM2 Preset or User Normal Part.

Drum Kits are too large to create the Mix Voice...
PLG Voices should be programmed in Voice mode, then go to the “studio”.
But if there is a Normal AWM2 Preset or User Voice in a Part slot, you should be able to drop directly into VCE ED and change Insertion Effects, etc, and state as a MIXING VOICE.

A total of 256 Mix Voices are allowed (at one time) for the entire Motif ES

Ok, so normal user voices made from AWM2 presets are treated in a Song mix just like presets. They can by edited as a Mix voice, including Insertion Effects all through VCE ED in Song mode? However, User Drum Voices and and User PLG voices are treated different in a Song Mix. I can only add / work with their Insertion Effects through Voice Mode?
