I have not yet loaded the 3.51 OS update and would like to do so. Each time I do an update I try and save my files but I always seem to do it wrong and lose them. I have several pages of Performance files, and many other libraries like the Bosendorfer, Herbie Hancock and many 3rd party packs. Do I have to save all the libraries individually? What about my performance files (my custom performances) - should I save them as User File? Thank you.

You need to be saving a backup file, which you can then restore after you update to 3.51. Doing this will restore everything you had in your Montage.

To make a Backup File
Insert a USB stick you use for MONTAGE
Press [UTILITY] > “Contents” > “Store/Save” > Set the “Content Type = Backup File
Execute
This will SAVE your entire MONTAGE (all Performances including all User, all Library, all Songs, all Patterns, everything)!
Name your file something you will remember or include the Day/Month that you store it.
You can restore your data after the firmware update, if necessary.
