Hi! I've recently bought a used Yamaha Motif XS7 from a very close friend of mine. When I connect to Logic through my MacBook Pro, The Device is getting recognised and 4 ports are shown on the external instrument plugin, but the keys are not getting recognised by the software. Can anyone help?

You need to download and install the Yamaha USB-MIDI driver version 1.3.2 for Mac
Select your country
Type in your MODEL NAME : Motif XS7
When the SEARCH RESULTS appear confirm by clicking on: Motif XS7
Find the USB-MIDI Driver 1.3.2 for Mac
It comes with the instructions. Read them twice. Once initially to see what you need to do. And a second time as you execute the installation.
There will be four Ports
Port 1 for MIDI Note-on, controller, tempo... from the Motif XS
Port 2 exclusively for Remote Control commands
Port 3 for external device connected to the XS 5-pin MIDI jacks
Port 4 reserved
