JUST purchased a pair of yamaha DSR112 (exceptionally good) and intended to use the montage7 and a korg keyboard as my live set up, the korg will be the Master keyboard in a midi configuration as a two tier set up, what I have found to be very good about the montage, if I run the audio outputs of the korg through the A/D inputs of the montage and complete the the final sound setup of the korg through the main mixer page of the montage with Edit: Common/Audio , Audio In and use the eq, effect etc to shape the final sound of the korg this has now worked with great results for this light gear setup in a live rig with the over all audio out-put coming from the montage (which inculdes the korg improved audio signal) to the out board mixer (Allen&heath) what is interesting is even using the master Waves MaxxAudio EQ in the korg with the above method has worked wonders for the sound of the korg and the DSR112 together and dare I say it has aloud these two keyboards to have an over all audio fidelity that blends and sound like they are coming from the same place, credit to the montage own audio fidelity here because if the korg and the montage are run separately to the outboard mixer the korg lags in over all fidelity compared to the montage......... so what is my problem? Well I would like to retain the A/D mixer settings and the Master mixer settings of the montage as a fixed Global Master setting, so when I move around the montage live sets or category search these important setting for this live setup (A/D input: eq, fx, etc + master mixer eq) are all ways the same "locked" as a Master Global Setting.....is this possible I wonder ?

Most of those settings are stored in each performance, so you would modify to match and [STORE] your modified performances.

Depending on how you "build" your performances - you could save off a performance which has your desired common performance settings set how you like - then customize based off that starting point. There's not necessarily a "drag and drop" where you can pick-and-choose which parameters to move and which are left behind.

(except) ...

When changing PARTs - if you you have part-level "mixing" settings you want to be set by the existing performance - then you could use the "param with part" (mixing) feature.
