Hello, I'm trying to change the default setting to a specific Voice when I power on my MOXF8. I've followed several proceedures found on the interweb and consulted with my manuals. I can change the default setting (e.g. press UTILITY, press F1, press SF6, PowerOnMode to STORE-ENTER, press STORE, Exit Utility mode, then select the Voice I want, press STORE and ENTER (at the same time). However, when I power on the MOXF8 it does go to the voice I want but it has the APR button on (which I don't want). I've tried different voices and made sure that the ARP button was not selected but still get the same result. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

( I’m not near my MOXF, sorry)... but I’m certain...
You should be able to store and recall the Voice exactly as it is stored/recalled normally... that is, with or without Arp On/Off.

Thanks for your quick reply Bad Mister. I agree, as I changed the default voice when I originally got my MOXF and I had no issue with the ARP button. But when I tried again this week to change it to another Voice I power on and the ARP button is lit up. Strange. Hopefully, we can figure this out. Am I going about the correct steps? Thanks

If you were to navigate to the PowerOnMode parameter setting right now, does it show “STORE+ENTER” or something else?
Are you using anything connected to the Assignable Foot Switch jack?
If yes, what is the Foot Switch set to control?

Solved! Thank you Bad Mister. I unplugged my FC7 from the MOXF8 and it worked. No ARP button activated. I'll try tomorrow to understand why this was an issue. Much appreciated. Dave

The FC7 should only be plugged into the Assignable Foot Controller jack.
Never (ever) into the Assignable Foot Switch jack.

The FC7 has TRS connector — correct for the Foot Controller jack
The Foot Switch is expecting a pedal with a TS connector... FC4A or FC5
