Hello.

Is there a way to set a waveform and set it as a loop? I mean, press the key so the waveform is repeatedly played while you have the key pressed.

I have seen that it is possible to do with the John Melas Waveform editor... but, is there a way to do it in the keyboard or with the Moxf Editor?

Thanks in advande.

You need to create the Waveform externally with software like the Waveform Editor, the MOXF has no ability to trim, loop, or edit samples directly. The MOXF can Load Waveforms if you have expanded the instrument with Flash.

Yes, I have expanded the instrument with the flash and I have created waveforms in Audacity ready to be played as a loop, but when I play it in the keyboard, it only sounds one time.

In which format has the "loop" to be saved so the moxf6 can read it and play it in a looped way?

Thanks in advance.

Sorry, I don’t know how your program Audacity works... but in general when creating your wav you can set a Start Point, an End Point and a Loop Point which is data that is stored with the wav. When Loop Point = End Point the Audio plays once and stops. When Loop Point = Start Point the audio will cycle (Loop) continuously.

Alternative Method
If you can’t figure how to do this with your software, you can place the .wav on a Key of a Drum Kit; then use MOXF Pattern Mode and a Note-On event to trigger and hold that Key for the duration of once cycle. For example, if it is an 8 Measure audio clip: place Note-on event that holds the Key for 7 Measure 479 clock ticks. You can make fine adjustmaent to the tempo to ensure “perfect Loop”

Thanks, it seems it will be better to buy the John Melas Waveform.
