My band does a cover of Gary Numan's "Cars" and the beginning of the track features a warbling synth sound.

I have wanted to either recreate it on the MOXF8 (but do not know where to start!) Or use a sample from the original recording that I found on the Internet (link below)

The first question is, how do I install it into the MOXF? I understand it can be imported as a sample in its native format (no conversion to .X6VA necessary)?

The second question is, how do I loop it correctly? The sample is around 4 seconds long but I'd probably want it playing for 3-4 times that.

And finally, how do I 'trigger' it on the MOXF?

I'm new to all this so any advice would be most welcomed!

You can load .wav or .aif audio directly to your MOXF. It needs to be 16-bit, up to 44.1kHz, stereo.
You set File TYPE = Waveform
You can direct to any of the 2048 Flash Board Waveform locations, to any its 128 Keys.
It then becomes a part of your instruments available Waveforms, along side the 3,977 factory Waveforms.
You can use it in normal Voices or in Drum Kit Voices.
You trigger it like any other Waveform - it is assigned to a Key within a Voice, you use a Note-on event to trigger playback. Either you press the key manually or you use the MOXF's sequencer to trigger the key for you.
Select the Voice you want to use it in and direct OSCILLATOR > WAVE page to its location
[VOICE] > [EDIT] > touch [1] to view Element parameters > [F1] OSC > [SF1] WAVE > here you select your installed Waveform.

The sample should be thoroughly prepared before you load it the MOXF - your Flash Board memory is read only.
