Hello, I purchased the Montage 8 in Nov. 2016. It came preloaded with the Boesendorfer performances. Last Friday I updated to OS 1.5 and they vanished. I am still very much the newbie to the Montage and unfortunately made a mistake thinking the Boesendorfer sounds would remain during the upgrade. I went to the download site to re-download but the reply was that my serial number was already used for the Boesendorfer download. Any advice to get it back? Or was this a hard lesson to learn?

Please contact Customer Support 714.522.9000 (also in California) tell them what happened.
How did you get a Montage with the Library already installed? (Anyway come up with an answer for that)... they maybe able to help you out... they may be able to look up your registration. Worth a try. Let us know.

I contacted Yamaha Corporation of America out of Buena Park, CA via email. I explained what happened and was immediately sent a link to re-download the library. Major kudos (can we still use that term today?) to Andy Z, Pro Music Division Applications Specialist. Excellent customer service, second to none. The Montage continues to amaze as I play and...ahem...learn to use. Isn't it comforting to know that the corporation folks are there to help you every step of the way along our journey.
