I use FL studio, and I want to be able to only use the sounds of the mx to make music, but I'm having a hard time figuring out how output the 16 part multi timbrel...I want to be able to dedicate each sound to its own channel..I don't know if I'm able to do this with the mx

Each MX Performance contains 16 Parts. As long as you are in a Performance you are in 16-Part multi-timbral mode.

A close look at the front panel reveals numbers 1-16 under the buttons on the right side. To view what is assigned to each Part and review its Part settings... press the [PART SELECT] button, then press the number button corresponding to the Part you wish to review. By pressing that button you are transmitting to that Part and it will sound.

Use the Down/Up Cursor arrow to scroll through each Part’s settings. By default, Part 1 = Ch1, Part 2 = Ch2, Part 3 = Ch3, and so on...
When you STORE a Performance you store settings for all 16 Parts.

When [PART SELECT] is not lit, the sixteen numbered buttons become CATEGORY buttons (written above those same buttons) for the most recently *selected* Part.
