Filter sweep on master effect

Hi there,

Trying to reproduce a rather popular effect these days in electronic music where a sweep is performed on a filter (frequency sweep) on all parts in PATTERN MODE.

I know how to do this in VOICE MODE. I assign, in Control Set, source MW(01) to destination FLT-Frq for all element in the VOICE. Bingo, filter sweep with manual control from the MW.

First off, is it possible to have the same audio effect, applied to all tracks in PATTERN MODE? Moving mod wheel, sweeping filter frequency on the "mixed" sound? (for lack of better word...)

If so, what is the best way to implement it?

Thanks,
JSB

Physical controllers are not Assignanle to Master (global) Effects in the MOXF engine. What you can do is assign the Master Effect to the "Dynamic Filter". While it is not manual control over the filter movement, it is triggered by the incoming audio source, you can perhaps get something useful. At any rate, it is an effect worth exploring if you're interested in applying a filter to the overall output.

Also found among the Master Effect Types is the ISOLATOR which is not a sweeping filter but does remove entire frequency bands.
