I am new to Yamaha synths and I have a DX21. I got it off of eBay a week ago and I got in the mail and I wasn’t able to figure out how to change the voices. I have only been able to get sections A and B but not any other sounds. And I have also done a factory reset and still nothing is working. Because I am new somebody try to explain in simple terms.

Sorry to hear that. What do you mean by “how to change the voices”... there are 128 Voices. They are listed in the manual on page 8
Page 19 will show you how to load a group of Voices, followed by how to load a single Voice from ROM to RAM

I’m confused on how to change it to the other 128 voices.

You have to turn MEMORY PROTECT = OFF
Page 19 will show you how to load a group of Voices, followed by how to load a single Voice from ROM to RAM
