Hello, I've downloaded the above subject library to my flash card and then stored four voices that I like in to USR3 banks on my MOXF. When trying to create a new Performance and after pressing the "Layer" button I'm only presented with "Category Search" options. I can't find where to select the voices from the "Pulse XF" voice library. Can I even do this or can I only create Performances using existing voices found in Category Search? Thanks.

The [LAYER] button is a function of the Performance Creator macro — a quick, on-the-fly way to create Splits or Layers. It works by immediately taking you to Category Search. If you don’t know what Category the Voice you wish to select, we recommend you build your Performance by using the method that starts by Initializing a blank Performance.

All Voices are placed in a Category, and are listed accordingly. If for example the Voice from the Pulse Library is a Synth Bass, it will be listed in the Bass Category, if it is a Synth Lead, you’ll find in the listing under Synth Lead, and so on.

Press [PERFORM] to enter Performance Mode
Press [JOB] > [F1] INIT
Mark the box All and execute.

You now have an initialized Performance with just Part 1 occupied by Voice 1 (a Piano)
Press [EDIT]
Press [1] to select PART SELECT 1
Press [F1] VOICE
Press [SF1] VOICE
Here you can change the sound to whatever you desire for Part 1
Part Sw =On
Set the Bank = Usr3
Select the Voice you wish to occupy Part 1

Rinse and repeat for Parts 2, 3 and 4... if desired.
Alternatively, you can press [CATEGORY SEARCH] and find your Voice for each Part using the search method.

Thank you Bad Mister for your quick response. I found the voices I was looking for in Category Search. My apologies, I must have over looked them or probably was not paying close attention.

I'll play around with your suggestion of building a Performance by initializing a blank Performance. Thanks again. Dave
