Could Yamaha add "Pan" to the YC inputs for CK?

Since I typically use the SKpro and CK thru the YC I wonder if pan could be added to the input section? Perhaps pan will get added to the CK eventually. For a reasonable $ having CK61 to make YC capable of 6 total layers is a nice option and as double manual if needed. Plus double the control interfacing. A new YC model probably couldn't achieve this combination for any less $ so this is the way to go. I know Yamaha has doubled the system before but even so you'd lose the interfacing.

What does this mean? The input section is stereo, it's "naturally" panned (left input going to the left side, right input going to the right side). What else would you like it to do?

Does he mean he wants the ability to adjust the relative level/volume of the left and right sides?

I suppose that just by being stereo a signal is panned at some left/right split but that would always be the same 'pan' amount unless you can adjust left and right separately.

Perhaps OP will clarify.

Yes so Yamaha added the pan capability on YC to the three voices but concerning the input I could simply unplug one side or the other but would rather be able to pan the volume either left or right coming into YC through the inputs. I could adjust the CK input channels as desired in the menu say 70% right channel and 30% left channel, etc.

I don't see much benefit to be had there, honestly. But if you really want to do that (or even just try it out to see how useful it would really be), you could do it now by putting a small mixer between the CK's output and the YC's input. even a little Mackie Mix5 or similar would do it.
