I’d like to know if there’s some user-friendly software for this module.
I’m working on a Macbook with Logic Pro, with an Arturia Keylab controller,
but I find it very difficult getting these units to communicate with one another.

We really don't have anything from Yamaha for the TG500. One thing that might help: The TG500 is essentially two SY85 tone generators (it doubled the poly of an SY85) so anything relevant to the SY85 will be relevant to the TG500. The only advice I can give you is experiment with different setups. Good luck!
