The instruction manual says the board should be cleaned with a soft dry cloth.

Anyone know if it could be wiped down with a soft slightly damp (just water) cloth without affecting it in any way?

I used to wipe down my boards way back when I played keys in bands....returning to this after a 17 year hiatus!

Never did them any harm....but second opinion always welcome!

Perhaps the Bad Mister can advise...

Use a micro-fiber cloth. No one, (in their right mind, any ways) is going to recommend that you use a damp cloth on a piece of electronics. Not a good combination since "damp" is not a quantifiable amount.

I use a good micro-fiber cloth and have never had an issue. There are spray cleaners that are electronic safe but spray (if you must) on the cloth, not on the instrument. Make sure you are unplugged from the wall completely. Why? If you have to ask... then just use a dry cloth as recommended in the manual.
