Apologies if this has been discussed. I didn't see it
I have a new mac and it came with Big Sur and the new M1 chip
I didn't see any Mac drivers for OS 11 on the Yamaha site.
So I downloaded the latest Intel ones
Not working at all for me. Did I miss the correct ones? If they're not ready yet any idea on when they will be?
I'm dead in the water!

There is some music software that isn't working with Big Sur yet. Then you have bleeding edge tech with the M1 chip so I wouldn't hold my breath while waiting. Your talking system software not some application a emulator can deal with. Those drivers aren't going to be a update they have to be a complete rewrite for the new chip architecture. Be patient.

It seems to be all fine now. The Yamaha drivers are Intel based of course but running fine now in Logic. The M1 is amazing, Its snappier than my iMac pro,'I almost wonder if these chips have been dropped off by aliens? Damn amazing!
