Hi,
I was curious if there is an easy way to use the assignable foot switch on the MOXF to toggle the AF1 button on and off?

Yes, there is...
Press [UTILITY]
Press [F4] CTL ASN (Control Assign)
Press [SF1] ASSIGN
Here you learn that AF1 defaults to 86
Press [SF2] FT SW
Set the FS = 86
This make the Foot Switch = AF1 and allows it to operate it.
If you use a momentary FS Sustain-Type (TS- Tip/Sleeve) FC4/FC5 Type it will act as a momentary switch
If you use a clickable FS, then each click will switch and hold the setting.
