Anyone can recommend the best tutorial out there for newcomers to the MOXF?

I have done sequencing before, years ago, on Cakewalk Audio, and then dabbled in this various other times.
Over the last few months I have composed music with FL Studio, and a basic old Yamaha keyboard.
Then I decided I need something a bit more fun and powerful. So I got myself a MOXF8.
Great keyboard, I love the sounds and what it has to offer, but with all this I learned too, that I find it a bit hard to really understand how to use it for song composition and pattern creation.

What I'm currently wanting to really understand is how Arps are quickly found, used, and modified. So new arps can be created.
Then how these new arps can be used to perhaps create patterns and how these are used later to create parts and songs.
I have to admit I'm not a fast learner, so it would be great if there would be manuals or tutorials about that cover the following in a structured and easy to learn way.
I especially would benefit of a manual with graphics that explain the difference between arp(eggio)s, patterns, parts, songs, and how these inter-relate and are effectively used when creating songs.

The manual that comes with the keyboard covers some aspects, but it assumes a lot of reading between the lines or per-requisites, which I simply don't have.
I guess I need examples of use too, so I really understand the many uses.

i.e. Topics covered I would appreciate in such tutorials would be such things as:

Effective ways to find and use an arp among the many thousands Yamaha provides on this instrument.
Once an arp has been created or picked, how can it be stored and used again in later projects?
How can arps be used to create patterns or inside parts and/or songs?

I am still very confused about such concepts as the elements that make up a voice, how performances work, in which situations they should be used and not be used. A lot of fundamental things I'm still a little mixed up about.
I am so ready to spend what it takes to gradually understand these things, so I use them efficiently.
I realise that MOXFs are very powerful, and I'm excited, but currently I'm still a bit overwhelmed by all the various features and the ways how these are accessed.
I want to understand when and when not to use these features when creating songs for performances where I can perhaps play a melody on top of a backing track etc.
Only once I feel I understand how these are effectively used, then I want to start using them on assisting software.
First time I tried to connect my MOXF8 to my laptop i've changed some settings that prevented me from being able to just play the instrument over my speakers, so I had to backup my layered sounds I had created thus far, before I restored the keyboard to factory settings.
So understanding connectivity will be my next hurdle.

You see a full comprehensive sensibly structured manual would be something that not only I but many other newcomers to this instrument would benefit greatly from.

If I would have to pay dollars I would be willing to pay as well, but I would need to be sure it's well worth my money.

Many thanks in advance for your advice.

Andreas,
Please make sure you download the Reference Manual, the Data List booklet, and the Synthesizer Parameter Manual found at http://download.yamaha.com

These are available in PDF format.

Effective ways to find and use an arp among the many thousands Yamaha provides on this instrument.

We have a few tutorial articles here on YamahaSynth that give an idea about how arps (specifically drum arps) can be used to create an effective drum track from arp phrases.

Recording a Basic Drum Loop

This covers using arps in the section "Painting Arpeggios to the Pattern Sequencer Tracks". This should give you an idea of one workflow and help translates the prefixes found in each arpeggio type.

Once an arp has been created or picked, how can it be stored and used again in later projects?

Arps are in the instrument's Flash ROM and will always be available. You can associate them with any Voice or Part, as necessary. You can search for them by category. The manual does give you information on these categories (genres).

How can arps be used to create patterns or inside parts and/or songs?

The above linked article will give you a basic idea about this.
The Arpeggio Block (page 11 Reference Manual) will cover the Categories and Sub Categories.

Thank you so much for these recommendations Bad Mister, I will surely explore these manuals and your links shortly and work through them.

Just had plenty of fun creating a 4-voice layer that sounds full and fitting when playing along to Manfred Mann's Earthband's song: Questions. Then when the guitar solo comes in the Killer Whammy was almost perfect to do that job. What a cool workstation/synth this is!
