the attached file is a homemade DX7 patch in the Musical FX Category.
what can do the montage for Anubis?
i started already to work on a performance based on that sound, i will post it soon
but i am very curious to hear from montage tweakers another experiments on that original sound.
starting with the same base can be fun and instructive . so if this base is enough good for you lets try.

Maybe this was something you wanted - but i would make the release for operator 8 go down to zero (0) so there was not background noise after I engaged this effect and it completed the doppler pitch descent.

LFO 2 isn't used - so I took what's there and set key on reset to ON, amplitude depth 30. Speed 90, Phase 180.

Not sure very much what you're going for other than some form of doppler effect.

Put a fast "scoop" on the PEG attack.

Changed ribbon to "hold" and set ribbon destination to mono/poly with ratio of -60 and uni-polar. Allows for 1/2 of ribbon to make sound "messy" (overlapping) and 1/2 of ribbon allow for single-note which allows for fast playing of same voice.

I also put some pitch modulation to try to get a siren going - didn't care for that as much (what I did).

Made the mod wheel control Op freq. Unipolar Ratio of -7, only element 8 with +8 rate all other elements 0 rate.

An interesting add is aftertouch with destination as part pitch.

Std curve, Unipolar, Ratio -23, param 1 = 8

Not related to aftertouch - but the E below middle C is a fairly convincing airplane sound.

Here's a demo: https://clyp.it/vvmeiq1j

Pretty much just noise.

it looks like nobody is really interested .:( . anyway here is my work on this dx patch . i like it .as i build it , that reveals the potential of montage to me.
this musical fx '' ANUBIS on highway '' oriented trans have three main controllers. the super knobs [ link on my set up to a fc7] the modulation wheel [ connected to a second fc7] and the velocity keyboard. explore it if you like. if you use headphone take care your hear, the dynamic amplitude is huge. it offer many colors that will be refined to my need. this kind of sound need a very precise play, velocity and rhythms. use along with the performance control, parts and arpeggios and important the assign knob 8 of part 1[ release].

I'd hope a couple messages tweaking your sound and a couple of performance (audio clips) would have counted for something. Honorable mention? (some kind of smiley face goes here)

Recognition aside - I do appreciate your spirit of sharing as the community's different ways of assembling sounds (FM-X or AWM2) as a starting point does offer inspiration. As does the presets - but community ideas would tend to diverge from what's available in the presets.
