Yamaha Synthesizer Artist DOMi is a young pianist, keyboardist and producer from France - whose work has gone viral in U.S.
In just 2 days of arriving in the US, DOMi’s first YouTube videos went 800k viral. At only 17 years old, she drew the ears of “Sput” a.k.a. Robert Searight II of Snarky Puppy, Louis Cole of KNOWER and an endorsement by Spectrasonics. The youngest woman to the world's top keyboard innovators, her sound is inspired by a melting pot of jazz, groove, classical, hip-hop, gospel, soul, to dubstep.
Immersed into the world of music by her family, DOMi’s devoted passion for the piano started young. At age 2 she picked up the drums and started teaching herself the piano.
After she completed her Piano studies at Nancy Conservatory, she went on to study at the internationally renowned Superior National Conservatory of Paris (CNSM). At age 17, she was awarded the full Presidential Scholarship by Berklee College of Music in Boston, where she is based and continuing her career. The most exciting sound in the new future-sonic-jazz movement, DOMi is for fans of Robert Glasper, Cory Henry and can be caught live alongside KNOWER, Louis Cole, and Sput of Snarky Puppy.
She has worked with an impressive array of artists, including: Robert Glasper, Mac Miller, Thundercat, Louis Cole, JD Beck, Genevieve Artadi, Jason Palmer, MonoNeon, Ghost-Note, Robert "Sput" Searight, Justin Brown, Anna Wise, Mike Mitchell, and Mark Guiliana.
DOMi plays the MONTAGE7 and MODX8. Check out her work on Facebook here.
