Yes, Those Videos are really helpful for Montage Users like us, I hope Yamaha Europe or Yamaha US can do more tutorial Video to help us to conquer the Montage...Many of us owned the Montage but we don't know what to do with it much not because we are dump but because we don't have much time to spend with it...

Yeah, I saw those yesterday when I was looking for Montage videos on YouTube.

It seems that Yamaha Europe puts out some good stuff - on YouTube and elsewhere.

Thank you for posting. I just learned more in 25 minutes than reading the manual for 3 hrs. Video content like this is indispensable for a product of this caliber. Montage is not a Toaster where you get a manual with a picture of the grill and heating temperature explanations. (Not critiquing anything, the manuals are great and the support here is the best, hands down!) Montage would need an encyclopedia of info and the owner would still benefit from video content of this quality. Each procedure, short to the point and clearly displayed. Nice..

yeah , That's right Louis...Manual is great but instead to spend hours to hours to write it and people still have question, why not make a clear video to show in 5 minutes to kill all that germs

Thanks for supporting !

Hi Joel

I have just watched your first video and found it very informative.
However I have a question which you may be able to answer relating to another thread that I previously started. At approximately 23 minutes into the video you are playing the XTASYN sound library and your left hand is playing single finger chords. Is this your personal choice and the Montage settings somewhere could be changed to play left hand using 3 finger chords for example or is single finger the only option. I have a Tyros 5 and can only really play the left hand by multi fingered chords.

Thanks
Chris

Hi Chris, i'm happy you found it instructive.
For this Xtasyn performance you play chords on right hand and bass on left hand, if you want, of course you can play chords with 3 or 4 fingers.
Montage recognize chords from left hand, some arpeggios recognize simple chords like Cm even if you play Cm7, some others Cm7 if you play Cm7.
Depend of arp used

You can find more informations on Moessieurs dédicated arpeggio page, use the google translator tool on top banner, not perfect but enought to understand, read this section :

"Understanding the Category, Sub Category and type Names and arpeggios:"

http://www.moessieurs.com/arpeggio-base-montage.html

According to the name, Arpeggio type and playback can be different.

Hope it's help
