Overview
A professional-level sequencer and unmatched XG sound and expression combined in one top-performance - but economical - music workstation that's perfect for an extremely wide range of music production and performance applications.
Since the world beating success of the Yamaha SY series workstations, Yamaha has driven forward the possibilities of powerful sequencing combined with synthesis functions people normally can only dream about.
The QS300 combines these features and, for the first time on a workstation, also provides all of the power of XG. Up to 4 oscillators per voice gives a depth of sound that few can match, and with a user interface as simple and as functional as most computer screens, the QS300 is the live or studio musicians dream.

Quick Tips
- Take note of the number of elements you are using in your voice edit screen. If the element count on each voice is high, you may run out of polyphony sooner than you think.
- Remember that in sequencer mode you can apply up to 3 independent effects to each channel voice. Take care however that you do not over process some sounds. It will add more variation to your tracks.
- Always back up after each recording session to your internal floppy drive. You may accidentally go over one of your songs or erase a song by mistake.
