MU90r Downloads
The MU90R promo disk is our first voice set and song data disk specifically aimed at the new XG mega machine. All the MIDI files are all in XG/type 0 MIDI file format, and will play on any XG compatible device (including SoftSynthesizer S-YXG50). The voices are also in .mid/type 0 file format but are for the MU90R only (they do however take advantage of the advanced voice and effects facilities of the MU90R). The MIDI files represent many differing styles of music (with a really cool clone of a song that any dance musician worth his salt will recognise). 100 voices are included, aimed at all areas of production, and again feature both 'in your face' modern dance sounds, coupled with atmospheric textures and ambient moods. Due to the compact nature of the voice data, please do not attempt to load the voices using the Windows Media Player. Yamaha recommend one of the popular sequencing packages such as Cubase/Cakewalk/Evolution/Performer/Logic or any other that can transmit system exclusive data as a MIDI file.
