Yamaha’s amazing plug-in board lineup, which includes the PLG150 Professional Series and the PLG100 Standard Series, not only gives you new sounds, but also new synthesis architecture, new effects processors, extra polyphony and more. It’s like placing an additional synthesizer or digital effects processor inside your existing keyboard—but at a fraction of the cost! | Once a plug-in board is installed, you can directly access any of its voices and edit them from the front panel of the host synthesizer. You can also use a PC-based software editor (bundled with each plug-in board) to edit any of the voices in detail. Many voice parameters are MIDI controllable, which, when used in conjunction with MIDI sequencing software, allows you to record realtime edits, such as filter cutoff frequency and effect levels, for automated voice transformation during playback.
