CS1x Downloads
Version 1.21 features the new Bank Compiler and MIDI-Player/Recorder. The CS1x-Edit software for Windows 3.1/95 offers an interface for all CS1x features, but its Windows interface makes editing easier as it is not limited to the two-line display of the CS1x. The ability to save to disk (sys-ex and MIDI-files) avoids some of the problems often found when using sequencers or sys-ex programs, which tend to work incorrect or crash. Main Feature Include:
The main window (above). Basically, it controls the full bank and things that don't belong to a performance. The Menu lets you save and open complete banks, send and receive bulk dumps from the CS1x, display the other windows and change the settings. Everything you do is automaticaly sent to the CS1x in realtime.
The window where you create and edit your sounds is the Performance-Editor window (above). You can do the same editing that you can with the matrix on your CS1x, but you can see everything all at the same time. Editing is done by sliding controlls up and down, or by selecting a value in a listbox, which makes it a LOT easier. Also, the changes you make are transmitted directly to the CS1x, so you can instantly try your new settings out.
The Player with the File Info window (above).
The Bank Compiler (above).
Lovingly hand-crafted CS1x Virtual MIDI Keyboard (above).
