SU700 Demo Songs (Mac/PC)
The demo songs are all in SU700 format. Use your computer to copy the data to a floppy disk, then load the disk in your SU700 and enjoy.
Copying the songs to the SU700
- Insert a floppy disk in the SU700 and format it.
- Now insert this floppy disk in the computer's floppy disk drive. Copy all the song files to the floppy disk. Demos 1 to 5 will each fit onto a single floppy disk.
- When you have copied the song files to the floppy disk, insert it back into the SU700 and use VOLUME LOAD to load its contents.
Playing back demo songs
- DEMO DATA is not an arranged song.
- Please start sequencer and press scenes from "TOP" to "G" as you like.
- You can also arrange like DJs, using Mutes/Unmutes and realtime control with knobs for each track.
- Try parameters like PITCH, SOUND LENGTH, LFO/Filter, FILTER Cutoff/Resonance and EFFECTS.
- Like with these demos, you can enjoy gathering your own samples and creating your own sample sets, saving different Scenes to memory and performing real-time remixes.
Tips
- 1/16 or 1/32 note drum fills can be performed using the "ROLL" function if the pads are assigned one-shot snare and kick drum sounds. These fills can be further enhanced by starting the Roll at a low volume level, then steadily increasing the level.
- You can create completely different sounding rhythms by taking looped breakbeats in a Loop Track and pitching them up or down by extreme amounts.
