Other enhancements:
Discs made using Track At Once that have not been finalized can now be read by the AW4416 in CD Play and CD Import modes. However, this feature is limited to units equipped with the YAMAHA CRW2100 CD-R/RW drive. When attempting to load discs that have not been finalized in CD drives other than the CRW2100, the message "Change Media, please" will appear.
The AW4416 can import audio data and read song files made with the AW2816. Mixing data, however, cannot be imported.
Before upgrading:
Before performing this upgrade, you should backup all your songs and important data to prevent loss due to unexpected mishaps.
It is not necessary to reformat the internal hard disk to perform the upgrade; however, to optimize the recorded data and ensure reliability, we recommend backing up your data and reformatting your hard disk prior to upgrading.
Data created with software versions prior to version 2.0 will be compatible with upgraded AW4416 units, so you will be able to use your backup data without any problems. The MIDI Remote and Utility settings differ slightly in the new version, so these settings will be converted accordingly.

Version 1.10 (November 30, 2000)
1. Resolved the rare issue where no sound, or noise was output momentarily during playback, fast forward, rewind, or shuttling. Note that this was a playback issue; recorded data was not affected.
The first time song data that was recorded with system software prior to V1.10 is loaded onto the hard disk drive, it's automatically converted to V1.10 compatible data, so loading time takes slightly longer than usual. Once the data has been updated and saved to the hard disk drive, however, the loading time is the same as before.
2. Speeded up the CD Import and WAV Import functions.
3. Corrected the issue where playback occasionally became unstable after using the Undo function, when manual punch in/out recording had been performed several times repeatedly without stopping.
4. Resolved the issue whereby operation would sometimes become unstable after recording had stopped due to the hard disk becoming full.
5. Corrected the issue whereby the Region Fade Time settings of 20 ms and 40 ms were occasionally ignored, resulting in an abrupt fade out.
Version 1.03
1. Corrected the issue where some recorded regions would occasionally not playback. Note that this was a playback issue; recorded data was not affected.
2. Corrected the issue where jog/shuttle functions would occasionally freeze.
